Hand-dyed Whole Cloth Art Quilt

The enormous bull-kelp along the Pacific coast attaches deep within the ocean, but always strives towards the light above. As a former scuba diver, I loved these incredible kelp forests.

Materials and Techniques: Hand-dyed and over-dyed with snow 100% cotton whole cloth quilt with freehand machine thread painting and hand stitching.
