Freehand Machine Sketch – Work with Mixed Media

I love seeing the red-tailed hawks overlooking grassy areas for prey as I’m driving in the Pacific Northwest.  This piece was made as part of a Experimental Machine Stitch course at the Gail Harker Center for Creative Arts.

Materials and Techniques: Pellon interfacing, machine freehand stitched / embroidered, colored pencils.
