The Pacific Madrona stands guard along rocky shorelines with distinctive rust-redand brown papery bark that peels away to expose a lime green smooth interior. The trunks lean in to the wind, twisting and turning to make each tree unique.
Materials and Techniques: Hand dyed and commercial embroidery threads, ribbons and yarns, hand stitched using a looped darning technique.
