Hand-dyed Whole Cloth Art Quilt

This hand-dyed whole-cloth piece reminded me of the fabulous Caverns of Nerja in Andalusia, Spain. The incredible stalactites and stalagmites glowed with multicolored lights in this geologic wonder.

Materials and Techniques: Hand-dyed and over-dyed with snow 100% cotton. Dense free-hand machine quilting with a variety of types and colors of thread.

Exhibitions: Rio and Sao Paulo Brazil Patchwork & Design Festivals 2014; Journey at the Sea Tac Airport 2013.
