Christina’s vast experience in fiber arts gives her a unique perspective and range in topics to share with your guild or group. Topics include Traditional Embroidery Techniques, Designing for a Theme, Israeli and Palestinian Textiles, British Historical and Contemporary Stitch, and Christina’s Fiber Artist Journey.
Christina’s work has been exhibited at the National Quilt Museum in Paducah, KY; Sookmyung Women’s Uiversity Museum-Seoul, Korea; Chung Young Yang Embroidery Museum- Seoul, Korea; Taiwan Internaional Quilt ExhibtionMaki House- Ottawa, Canada; Rio and Sao Paulo Patchwork and Design Festivals, Brazil; and many other shows and galleries in the U.S. and Canada.
What is a “fiber and mixed media artist”? While most of Christina’s work includes textiles or stitch in some fashion, her range of mediums and techniques is vast including handmade paper, colored pencils, dyes, acrylics, and collage.
